My first post

Hi people,

So my idea is definitely not as clear in comparison to Andre.
When we had to brainstorm about impressions of Kamppi many of us talked about stress, people being busy and confusion in relation to different aesthetic abundance.
I therefore want to do something in contrast to this by making a relaxing project. I don't think the intervention will be very obvious, but instead by making something in contrast to the hectic Kamppi I hope that people will get a new experience and slow down a bit.

My work is usually not very experimental but I'm instead always trying to make some kind of aesthetic satisfaction. Even though I would love to challenge myself I still think I need to realistic due to the short timetable. I will probably work with photography (as I usually do) or maybe instead make some kind of video to make it more interactive.

For me some of the most relaxing that is still in contrast to the consumer society would be some kind of project with nature. I also want to use the nature because the first thing I think of in relation to Finland is the nature and this part is missing in Kamppi.
It might be a cliché, but I hope it will work in some way and make something that will fit Kamppi by not fitting in :)
I'm going to Lapland next week, so I hope I'll get some inspiration there (and I'm really open to different ideas).
It is still very much work in progress, so maybe I will see the light in some way and totally change my idea.

The last thing is just iPhone footage from last time, because I like the construction of the centre and the way it determines peoples movements, so this could also be an inspiration. (Sorry for the bad quality)
