I can be considered a New Media Artist but mainly I focus on being a Cultural Promoter and Event Producer with a background in Interaction and Game Design. I have just launched a two year project called 'Experiment Zero" where I want to focus on the usage of public space. This will be a series of mischievous guerrilla actions, where I want to transform the city into a playground, bring its public spaces back to life and work towards a version of the Finnish concept of “Every man’s #urban# rights”. This is done under the flag of Inside Job (Cultural) Agency, where we do some unusual things that seem "not allowed" but somehow we are granted access or simply get away with it. Kamppi is a great canvas for such activities and having the permission to do so fit's the profile of the intervention becoming an "inside job".
Gamification, Participatory Storytelling, Live-Action Role Playing, Transmedia are some of the key concepts at play here and one of the main sources of inspiration, other than my own creativity and long history of playing pranks, is New York based prank collective Improv Everywhere, whose motto is "we cause scenes" and whose activities can be easily illustrated in the following short video (1m30s).
