I've been rubbing my brain-cells over what topic, theme or area to focus on in Kamppi. My original plan was to make a non-commercial, silent place for people to come and hang-out (eat own lunch etc) because of the loud visual and auditive stimuli you get subjected to. That plan then evolved to something else (though it's probably still somewhere in my subconscious)...
Now my vision is to organize an installation/performance on the first floor (the busiest highway). The topic would be time and why we are slaves of our timetables. First I tought about organizing some meditation sessions on the first floor, but it felt too aggressive. So my plan is to use the same methods commercial brands use when they are handing out free products. Instead of trying to get people to buy a product, I would focus on handing out questions about their time-use in some form. The look would be similar as commercial companies use when they are handing out products.
The hand-out part is still blurry. One plan is to handout circular stickers designed as a clock without the pointers so that people could put the sticker on their own clock to hide the time. For example.
I'm open for cooperation and better ideas!

Okay, my focus changed from time to stones. I'm playing with an idea to brand and commercially "sell" ordinary stones. Will explain the idea more thorough tomorrow. See you guys!
