Experiment Zero - Kamppi Olympics

"You wouldn't think of it but Kamppi is a great place to play"

The "Kamppi Olympics" is a public intervention in the Kamppi shopping center and surrounding outdoors areas. We will transform these areas into a giant playground by painting a series of outdoors children's games and rules for other small interactive playful interactions suitable for public play. We do this in the hope to engage with the general public and create an alibi for interaction and play for both youngsters and adults alike, 

This is done as part of the Experiment Zero series organized by me under the flag of Inside Job Agency. The intervention which hopefully will remain for a couple of weeks will have an official opening as a mini Outdoors-Play Festival. The project is executed in cooperation with the local youth center ran by Aseman Lapset ry and with the permission and facilitation by  Kauppakeskus Kamppi.

We hope to stimulate and facilitate playfulness casually by bring games people, removing the necessity of arranging time, place, logistics and partners for said play. The intervention will be setup on Thursday the 7th of May and the mini outdoors play festival will occur on the 7th / 8th of March 2015.
