Haluaisin tänne

The need to raise questions and express feelings is in everyone, but it's not often possible to represent them in public as the spaces become more and more commercial and the intentions of self-expression are considered mostly illegal.

The project is about bringing alive and visible the voices of people who use certain spaces in Espoon keskus every day.

The project was made by collecting information from different groups of local people with posters asking "what would you like to see here more?" The people had a couple of days to answer. The answers were collected and made into phrases, that were projected on the ground in Espoonsilta.

This is the video of me and Sanna's final work, the projection in Espoonsilta.

These are all the texts that were projected.

Thank you for the course! We learned some new ways of thinking and would like to try this video projection thing again with more time.
