For me the most exciting moment of our trip was the metro station models in Metrokonttori.
This model with the label: "In reality this street doesn't exist." reminded me of the film Truman Show.

ReplyDeleteI wanted to tell my expierences from visiting Tapiola. That friday was the first time for me in Tapiola, when we were walking around, i got this feeling that this district remind me of something.. Of cause, I noticed that while being in Finland, sometimes Im unconsciously trying to find some realitions to my home town Vilnius. So, when I was walking in Tapiola, it reminded me of one district in Vilnius, but only difference is that the district in my town (called Lazdynai) was builded by the influence of socialism, so the architects who were building district, they had task to build houses for as much people to live in as possible. So thats why we have multistorey buildings, but the concept of district is the same as in Tapiola.
